Children's
Book

This piece of non-fiction literature is a really simple book that teaches about the different types of recyclable materials. It not only teaches about recycling but it also teaches about reusing as well. Though I really like what is written in the book, I also love that this book is made of 100% recycled materials. Further deepening the usefulness of recycling.

Video
Recycling

The video I found for this unit plan is made specifically for kids. This educational video teaches about the different types of bins  and the different things that can be recycled.  I really enjoy how simple and kid friendly this video is. There are plenty of different videos available for different age groups.
